2.       What impact did these historical influences have on this generation?  Keep the personal opinion on politics, government to yourself.
3.       What are the core values of this generation? Hard working, be quiet
4.       What was/is the family experience like for this generation? Grew up in extended family with parents, grandparents, and siblings in the same household.
5.       What is the value of education for this generation? While growing up, learning knowledge was not stressed. Learning to be politically correct was the main focus of education. When we became parents, we emphasize on our children’s education.
6.       What was the school day like for this generation? We had classes. But we also had to work in field to take care of crops, raising farm animals on weekly bases.
7.       What did/does this generation think of their teachers? Teachers should be respected; they are one group of people who should have highest status in society.
8.       What role did extracurricular activities play in this generation’s school day/life? Not very important.
9.       What is the work ethic of this generation? strong
10.   Who worked? Why? What impact did that have on future generations? Both parents work on the farm to support family. Children helped to work on the farm to earn extra income. Children were expected to take care of household work, including cooking, cleaning, taking care of the farm animals
11.   What is this generation’s view of organizational management /charts? What is this generation’s view of respect for authority? Extremely important to obey authority.
12.   What is this generation’s view of time at work?  Since you are paid to work, you have to do your best work.
13.   How does workplace skills or training look like for this generation? Since I grew up on the farm, I knew how to do the work through watching and helping.
14.   What does this generation’s views on work life and balance of family? Do the best you can to keep both. Since my parents worked very hard, the kids were very independent, and self sufficient.
16.   What is this generation’s preferred work environment? Work chose us, we did not choose our work. Our work place was assigned
